A true ambassador for her instrument, Anaïs Gaudemard declared in the booklet of her first disc devoted to concertos by Boieldieu, Debussy and Ginastera on the Clavès records label;“I love the harp for everything we don’t know about it, because for me it is limitless”and wishing“reveal its wide range of sound”.
Also, the international reputation of the soloist was quickly established after she won 1st prize at the prestigious International Harp Competition in Israel 2012, as well as 2nd prize and prize of the Münchener Kammerorchester at the ARD Competition 2016 in Munich . Anaïs Gaudemard was also awarded the Thierry Scherz Prize at the Festival des Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad 2015 and named “ECHO Rising Star” 2018/19 by the Philharmonie de Paris and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon. Since then, she will make her debut on the most prestigious international stages such as Wiener Konzerthaus, Elbphilharmonie (Hamburg), Barbican Center (London), Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), among others.
It is for the concert that all of Anaïs’ creativity is expressed and tends to offer an ideal meeting for her audience. A moment for which his ever-growing curiosity evolves into an in-depth research of the repertoire. In this sense, she participates in the enrichment of today's music by creating the works of Camille Pépin, Philippe Hersant and Michaël Levinas.
After his album“Solo”for the Harmonia Mundi label, his very eclectic discography will soon includeConcerto K299for flute and harp by Mozart with Julien Beaudiment and the Orchestra of the Opéra National de Lyon, two discs with Avi Avital and the Between World Ensemble for Deutsche Gramophon as well as a repertoire of French romantic music produced by the Palazzetto Bru Zane for Alpha.
The Institut de France has just awarded him the Tissier-Grandpierre prize.
Anaïs Gaudemard plays on a Style 23 Gold Concert Grand harp, offered by the harp maker Lyon & Healy during the 18th International Competition in Israel in 2012.
