Piano & Sand "New Moon" - 2:00 PM

Through the interaction of piano music and sand painting, animations are created live on a lit table and projected onto a screen.

With their "New Moon" program, the duo presents a new symbiosis between piano music and sand painting, in which the visual and auditory meet on equal footing. Featuring works by Debussy, Boulanger, Rachmaninoff, Piazzolla, and others, the artists symbolically pay homage to the moon, this celestial body that can both inspire us earthlings to romance and stir our emotional world.
